Is it your first time using the Do Ink app? Follow these steps  to use a still background image as you record your students.

Once you've downloaded the DoInk app, start by looking for images that will work as background images for your project. Save them to you iPad. 
(Click here to learn how to find images that are labeled for reuse.)

Step by Step Directions (images below):

  1. Open the Green Screen App
  2. Click the "+" and Create a New Project
  3. Tap the BOTTOM "+" sign
  4. Tap "Image" then find the image for the background you'd like to use. Tap "use"
  5. Tap the MIDDLE "+" and Camera
  6. Select Video or Image 
  7. Point the iPad at the Green Screen to see the magic happen. Tap the red record button to record your students 
  8. To save, click the share button and select Save to the Camera Roll

Finding Google Images the RIGHT way by Mrs. Mashinchi's 5th Grade Class

Are your students using Google Images to find pictures to include in their own work? Be sure to teach them to use images that are labeled for reuse to protect themselves and protect the work of others. It takes only minute if you use this quick tutorial made with Mrs. Mashinchi and her 5th grade students!
